Hello I am Julian Akinsanya, I am an artist from Lynwood, IL,  which is in the south suburbs of Chicago. I am an interdisciplinary artist who specializes in Graphic Design (branding and advertisement), acrylic painting, and photography. Growing up in the chicagoland area my work was heavily inspired by the environment. Seeing the beautiful artwork, the murals, and the amazing artist, is what inspired me. The patterns, textiles, shapes, and colors of graffiti works or murals are a unique asset to the city. The structures, architecture, and sculptures are contributions that shaped my perspective from a young age.  As an artist and creator I use art as an outlet to voice myself and what I believe in. My work is centered on personal experiences, Social awareness, and mental health. I create for personal documentation of my journey, struggles, and growth as a person as well as an artist.
